Scott was talking about the name of this town and how it reminded him of a whalers town in Moby Dick (Mashantucket). But a great show for sure! They had a few jam sessions between songs. Same set list as the last few shows, nothing new sadly.

It sounded like they even tuned it down a little bit to try and help him out. Scott sounded great on every song except for big bang baby. Thanks to Jmandeville18: Just got back from the show. This set list was the most diverse I've heard in the last few years, but am very disappointed they didn't play some of their best early tracks, wicked garden, dead & bloated, creep. The crowd was a little weak and I think when STP has the huge video screen playing in the back(which they didn't have for this show), the visual adds to the overall feeling. Scott was the most talkative, I've seen as the other comments said. Thanks to stpfan: This was my 6th STP show and have to say they still continue to rock and engage the crowd, especially for this smaller more intimate venue. I really liked all the little blues intros they did before some of the tunes as well. I've seen STP every time they've come to CT since 1994 and have never been disappointed. The band sounded great from my vantage point in this small room, small compared to arena's I've previously seen them in. Hope he can hold it together til Tuesday in Chicago! This performance is leaps and bounds better than the 8/22/12 show in terms of Scott's performance. Thanks to lowlight10: This is the most coherent Scott has sounded in a while, both in terms of singing and in between songs. Can't wait to see them again!!! STP RULES!!!!! Left me wanting more!:( I jumped around nonstop the whole time!!! Second time I've seen them live. Thanks to Christine: Show was AWESOME!!! I love Scott!!! Still think he's sexy (though too thin).
